There is no any means of land transportation to explore the island to see the Komodo dragon and other wildlife. It is done only by walking through the tropical forest.

around 20-minutes by Local slow boat and 5-minutes by Speedboat.

OPTION 1

Tender of the shore tour between 08:00am-10:00am. Our tour guide will meet you at the pier of Komodo Island and take you to the briefing point where the ranger will explain to you about the trekking. Then, our local guide and the ranger will accompany you during the trekking on Komodo Island while our guide will tell you about Komodo Island. You will see Komodo dragons, other wildlife such as Timor deer, wild boar, and other kinds of wild animals. From here, you will board a boat to sail around Komodo island for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing for around 2 hours, then back to the cruise ship.

OPTION 2

Tender of the shore tour between 08:00am-10:00am. Our tour guide will meet you at the pier of Komodo Island and take you to the briefing point where the ranger will explain to you about the trekking and Komodo Island. Then you will start the trekking with our local guide. We will spend around 2 hours in Komodo Island where you will see Komodo dragons, other wildlife such as Timor deer, wild boar, and other wild animals. At the end of these walking tours, our guide will take you back to the tender point for tendering back to the cruise ship.

Note: if the time permits some shopping could be done near the jetty before the time calling back to the cruise ship.
