Flores overland tours: one of our land tour packages discover Flores Island starting from Ende a gateway to the famous three color lakes, Kelimutu National Park. Apart from Kelimutu Lake, this trip combines cultural tours visit traditional houses in Flores island, Wologai traditional villages , Bena traditional village, and Wae Rebo traditional village in the region of Manggarai.
These tour programs we provide are flexible and can be customized depending on your special wishes. If you want to combine these tours with a day boat trip to Komodo or if you have time, also an overnight boat trip to komodo from Labuan Bajo it does possible.

DAY 1 BALI – ENDE – MONI
Morning flight over from Denpasar Ngurah Rai Airport (Garuda, Wings Air, KL-Star, NAM-Air) to Ende Hasan Aeroboesman (middle part of Flores). Our local representative will greet you upon arrival (Tour guide and driver), Drive to wologai, a traditional house of Ende lioness tribe with unique interior and exterior construction. Continue to Moni village, which lies on the slope of Kelimutu mountain, for your overnight accommodation and dinner.
DAY 2 MONI – KELIMUTU – BAJAWA
Pre-dawn (04.30) drive to the top of Kelimutu mountain, to see the sunrise (weather permitting) and the wonderful three colored lake. Return to Moni for breakfast. After breakfast drive through Ende. Nanga Penda beach to see blue stones beach along 5 km away. Afternoon drive to Soa, for bathing in Mengeruda natural hot spring. Drive to Bajawa for your overnight accommodation and dinner.
DAY 3 BAJAWA – RUTENG
Get breakfast at your hotel then drive to south part of Bajawa town to see Bena, the biggest traditional village in Flores Island with their megalithic stones and hand weaving. Drive back to Bajawa then to Aimere district. This is the place where local people are making local alcoholic drinking called ARAK. Continue drive to Ruteng, where lunch will be served at the local restaurant. On the way will stop at Ranamese, to see lake located on slope of mountain with cool weather. Mborong for the long black sand beach with the view of Mt. PocoNdeki, its famous with for bird watching. Arrive in Ruteng direct check in at your hotel. Dinner and accommodation will be served at the hotel
DAY 4 RUTENG – DENGE VILLAGE – WAEREBO
After breakfast at the hotel drive through to Denge villages, where lunch is served at the local houses, its following the locals daily menu (its great experience having the local foods). After having lunch, the journey to the isolated villages of Waerebo begin. It will takes 3hours depends on your walking!! The trekking will pass through the rainy jungle forest, enjoying the birds singing along the road before arriving at the village. On your arrival the leader of the villages welcomes you in Manggarain (the local language). Asked your guide to learning more their way of living. Dinner and accommodation will be served at the traditional villages.
DAY 5 WAEREBO – LABUANBAJO
An early bird wake up is recommended (if not too tired), to see the locals activities and taking pictures. After having breakfast descend to Denge. Lunch will be made at the local houses. Continue to Lembor the largest rice field irrigations in Flores island. On your arrival in Labuan bajo directly check in hotel and overnight.
DAY 6 LABUAN BAJO – BALI
Morning free at the hotel or city tour to visit the limestone stone cave, Gua batu cermin to see the stalactites, stalagmites and the beautiful coral stone fossils hanging on the wall of the cave. The cave is 19 hectares in size and 75 meters high. Found by a Dutch priest, as he was an archeologist that found a lot of fossils in Flores island. Afterwards transfer to the airport to get your flight back to Bali.
