DAY 1 BALI – MAUMERE – MONI
Morning flight from Denpasar Ngurah Rai Airport to Frans Xavier seda Airport, Maumere. Our local representative will greet you upon arrival (Tour guide and driver) Heading to Moni, a small village on the slope of Mt.Kelimutu. First stops will be made at Wuring fishermen village, afterward heading to Sikka, for the tour of an old catholic church was built by missionaries from TareKat Jesuit with sikkanesse and priest called Y.Engbers, as well as supportted by the king of Sikka, Yosep Mbako 11 ximenes da silva, in 1899. Proceed to Paga for relaxing at the black sand beach, where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterwards head to Jopu a traditional house of Ende lioness tribe that’s more than thousands of years old with typical and unique interior or exterior construction. Drive up to Moni village for your overnight accommodation and dinner, served at Local restaurant.
DAY 2 MONI – KELIMUTU – RIUNG
Pre-dawn (04.30) drive to the top of Kelimutu mountain, to see the sunrise (weather permitting) and the wonderful three colored lake. Return to Moni for breakfast. Afterward, drive long way to Bajawa town. Some stopping will be made at Nua Bosi to enjoy the vista of Ende town with Mt Iya and Meja, one of Flores’s famous volcano’s in the background. Continue to Nanga Penda, to see the beautiful blue stone beach then continue drive to Wogo, to see traditional village and hand weaving / Ikat. Drive to Riung for your overnight accommodation and Dinner, served at local restaurant
DAY 3 RIUNG – SEVENTEEN ISLAND – BAJAWA
After breakfast at your hotel, start your journey to explore the most exotic islands in Riung 17 island National Park. Transfer to the
harbour, sailing to Kalong Island to see flying Foxes are hanging on mangrove trees. Continue sailing the islands of Kotong, Tembang, and Pulau Tiga where you will intimate yourself swimming and snorkeling in
the blue turquoise water and relaxing on the white sand beach, You will have fresh fish BBQ on the island of Pulou Tiga. Afterward sailing to Riung for shower and get your Bags then drive to SoaSoa Mengeruda Hot spring for your bathing and therapy of skin to protect from disease. Some stop will be made according to local events. Afternoon drive to
Bajawa town. Dinner and overnight in Manulalu Hotel local restaurant.
DAY 4 BAJAWA – BENA – RUTENG
After breakfast at your hotel, drive 18km to south part of Bajawa town to see Bena, the biggest traditional villages in Flores Island, with their megalithic stones and hand weaving. Drive back to Bajawa then to drive down to Aimere district, one of the famous local ‘Arak’ distillation in Flores island. Continue toward to Ranamese to see the beautiful lake, located on the slope of Mt Ranaka, surrounded by jungle, and also the beautiful rice terrace’s on the green valley near the Ranamese village. At Mano there are amazing view’s of the rice terrace’s. Continue drive to Ruteng town for your overnight accommodation and dinner, (Mbc hotel or similar)
DAY 5 RUTENG – DENGE – WAE REBOBUAN BAJO – RINCA – KANAWA ISLAND ATAU KELOR ISLAND – LABUAN BAJO – BALI
After breakfast, drive through to south part of Ruteng into Denge villages where lunch is served at the local houses, following the locals daily menu (its great experience having the local foods). After having lunch, the journey to the isolated villages of Waerebo begin. It will takes 3hours depends on your walking!! The trekking will pass through the rainy jungle forest, enjoying the birds singing along the road before arriving at the village. On your arrival the leader of the villages welcomes you in Manggarain (the local language). Ask your guide to learning more their way of living. Dinner and accommodation will be served at the traditional village houses of Waerebo.
DAY 6 WAE REBO VILLAGE – LEMBOR – LABUAN BAJO
An early bird wake up is recommended (if not too tired), to see the locals activities and taking pictures of the traditional house called Mbaru Niang in Manggarain which is surrounded by the green beautiful mountains surrounding the the village. After having breakfast descend to Denge village to continue your journey to Lembor sub-district, the biggest rice field irrigation in Flores. Lunch will be made at the local houses. A stop will be made at Melo village to see the amazing view of tiny islands surrounding the Komodo National park. Afternoon drive to Labuanbajo where Dinner and accommodation will be served at the hotel or local restaurant
DAY 7 LABUAN BAJO – RINCA ISLAND – PINK BEACH – KALONG ISLAND
After breakfast at the hotel will transfer you to the harbour, embarking on wooden motorized boat, sailing to Rinca Island. Arrive at Rinca’s pier, Bay of Loh buaya, where you will be met by the rangers from Komodo National Park, who will guide you through registration, then
into the bush to see Komodo dragon and other stunning wild life such as long tail macaque, timor deers, wild boar, wild buffalo’s, wild horse, etc Return to the boat continue to Pink beach, another wonderful snorkeling spot, Explore the beauty of coral reefs and plenty of tropical fish in the crystal-clear water, as well as the sunbathing and relaxing on the pink sand beach. Lunch will be served on the boat. Afternoon sailing to Kalong island, where the boat will anchor overnight. Dinner and accommodation will be served onboard
DAY 8: KOMODO – MANTA POINT – LABUAN BAJO
Breakfast served en route to Komodo Island. Arrive at the pier of Loh Liang, walking to Komodo National Park for registration and meet the rangers, then trekking to see the Komodo dragon in their natural environment, and other stunning wild life such as the Timor deer, wild pigs, long tail macaque, water buffaloes and Megapods birds,etc. During this trekking you will visit the nest of KOMODO DRAGON as sometimes you will see the baby komodo dragon hiding on the trees, to avoid attack from the adults. Afterward back to boat depart to Karang Makasar. Swimming in the crystal clear water at this Manta point, with luck, you should see groups of Manta rays. Afterward navigation to Labuanbajo, for transfer to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation will be served at the hotel or local restaurant.
DAY 9 LABUAN BAJO – BALI
Morning free at the hotel or city tour to visit the limestone stone cave, Gua Batu Cermin to see the stalactites, stalagmites and the beautiful coral stone fossils hanging on the wall of the cave. The cave is 19 hectares in size and 75 meters high. Found by a Dutch priest, as he was an archeologist that found a lot of fossils in Flores island. Afterwards transfer to the airport to get your flight back to Bali.
